READ BEFORE BOOKING 

Booking:

The Sandbar has capacity for up to 47 people for your event. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to reserve your event and will be processed during online booking, via credit card.  After booking is complete you will receive an emailed invoice for the balance (including total sales tax) which will be due prior to 3 days before boarding for your event (ex: the 3 hr cruise is $750 plus sales tax, 50% of the total will be due at booking and the other half is due 3 days before the day of the event).  The invoice will have a link for you to pay the balance online via credit card. Food and beverages are not included in the reservation cost and are paid for separately.  See Bar and Food options below.

Bar options - See MENU "Featured Drinks":

OPEN BAR Option: You as host cover the cost for a full open bar for all drink types for your guests, or BEER ONLY Option: you as host cover beer only for your guests with guests paying for their other non-beer drinks. LIQUOR ONLY Option: You as host cover liquor (cocktails, mixed drinks, blended drinks, etc.) only for your guests with guests paying for their other non-liquor drinks.  PAY PER DRINK Option: Your guests pay for their beverages. Please select one of these options when booking. If you decide to host any portion of the bar, you will need to give your credit card to the bartender before drinks are served (20% bar service charge will be added to the total bar bill at end of event). If you would like to set a limit to your hosted amount, be sure to notify the Bartender at time of boarding. 

Food options - See MENU "Food":

The Sandbar kitchen makes fresh food served per customer order (please note we are unable to serve your guests all at once). No carry-ons allowed with the exception of a celebration cake. See "Other" below for food waiver requirement. The Sandbar is not responsible to provide plates, serving or eating utensils, napkins, or other for the celebration cake.

If you and your guests choose to eat during your event, you are required to pre-order and prepay for meals. This is necessary to ensure we are able to serve the right quantity of fresh food for you and your guests.  At booking you will need to provide the quantity and meal types for your guests.  You will be invoiced via email after booking. Side options do not need to be pre-ordered for the event, only meals (chicken or steak). Other side food items or additional meals can be purchased individually or under a host's tab as quantities last. After booking is complete you will receive an emailed invoice for the food prepayment which will be due prior to 3 days before boarding for your event.  The invoice will have a link for you to pay the balance online via credit card. 

At time of boarding the host will receive an envelope with two different ticket types (steak vs. chicken) based on the pre-order.  The host will disburse tickets to guests which they will redeem for their selected meal.

Pick-up/Drop-off:

The optimal pick-up point and drop-off point for your event will be determined after booking at the Captain's discretion as there are a variety of public boat landings, parks, etc. for pick-up. Waterfront private residence pick-ups can be prearranged (additional fees may apply).

Cancelations:

Only the Captain will determine on a daily basis if weather is favorable for cruising. If the Captain determines that The Sandbar is to remain docked due to unsafe weather conditions, your event will be cancelled and all payments received less fees will be refunded. 

There are no refunds if you cancel your event. 

Other:

  • All items brought onto the boat such as gifts, etc. must be clearly identified  in the booking "Notes" section and are subject to approval by The Sandbar Crew.  Items not identified may be denied at time of boarding.

  • The host is required to review and sign The Sandbar's Rules and Regulations and Waiver of Liability (and Food Waiver if bringing a celebration cake) and ensure all guests review as well.  Forms will follow in an automatic email after booking is complete and must be returned via email prior to 3 days before boarding for your event. 

  • Dress as you wish for your event.  From swimsuits and sandals to dress attire, it all works on The Sandbar.

  • Shoes are recommended as the deck can get hot from the sun.

  • Large carry-on bags are discouraged as there is limited space on the boat.

  • Cash and card are accepted, checks are not.

  • Life jackets are provided for every passenger (in readily-available storage onboard), but you may bring your own if you prefer.

  • Guests 16 to 20 years old can board for event, if accompanied by a legal guardian/parent. Photo ID is required at boarding.  No alcohol will be served to anyone under the age of 21.

  • Board at your own risk.
